We are looking for a Seasonal Landscaper/Groundsperson - $14.50 - $17.00 HR ($17.00 requires a degree or certification in landscape design, golf course management or horticultural discipline)   

Our Funeral Home & Cemetery, located in London, Ontario is currently recruiting for Full-Time Seasonal Groundsperson or a Certified Gardener. (4, 6 and 8 month contracts available Spring - Fall).

We have 60 developed acres. The property includes an onsite Funeral Home, a Crematorium, and an Administration/Sales office.

Hours: 40 hour work week Mon - Fri, including working of overtime when required.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • All aspects of cemetery care including weeding, mowing, weed whipping, pruning and other landscaping/horticulture requirements.
  • Operation and maintenance of tractors, utility vehicles, and hand held landscape equipment.
  • Keeping pace with the ever-changing service demands and is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of our customers in a sensitive and professional manner.

 The successful candidate must have the following:

  • A Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • The ability to lift 50lbs.
  • A team player, with a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask and set priorities.
  • Previous experience, education or certification in landscaping, horticultural and/or cemetery environment and a demonstrated interest in working outdoors is an asset.
