Compensation: The overall compensation will comprise of the following:

  • Base Salary: 50,000 – 60,000 CAD (Subject to Work Experience)
  • Incentive: 2,400
  • Transportation Allowance: N/A
  • Vacation: 15 Days

Job Description: As a Product Management Specialists, you will work with the team to develop and communicate a clear product strategy, define product roadmap, prioritize features based on customer value and business impact.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Product Strategy – Develop & Communicate a clear product strategy aligned with HANSAmed’s overall goals and vision. Define the product roadmap, prioritize features based on customer value and business impact.
  • Market Research – Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends and competitive landscape. Analyze data to identify potential opportunities for product messaging or new features
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure a coordinated and efficient product development process. Facilitate communication between different departments to align everyone with the product vision.
  • Product launches - Plan and coordinate product launches, including defining goals, creating plans, and overseeing the launch process. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Analytics and Metrics - Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of product features. Use analytics and user feedback to iterate on the product and make data-driven decisions.
  • Customer Feedback and Support - Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify pain points and areas for improvement. Collaborate with customer support teams to address product-related issues and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Competitive Analysis - Stay informed about industry trends and competitors, conducting regular competitive analyses. Use insights from competitive analysis to inform product strategy and positioning.
  • Product Evangelism: Act as a product evangelist, both internally and externally, by effectively communicating the value proposition of the product. Support sales and marketing efforts through product knowledge and training.
  • Risk Management - Identify potential risks to the success of the product and work to mitigate those risks through strategic planning and proactive problem-solving.


  • Education: Bachelor in business or marketing.
  • Proven experience in product management
  • Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and dental devices is an asset
  • Demonstrated success in launching and managing successful products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Strong technical background or aptitude, enabling effective communication with development teams and understanding of       technical challenges.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to interpret metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with analytics tools and the ability to derive insights from user data.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop a clear product strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey product plans, goals, and requirements to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of user experience and a focus on delivering products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including development, marketing, sales, and customer support.
  • Leadership skills to inspire and guide teams towards common goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and market conditions.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to make decisions in uncertain situations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenges in product development and management.
